Neymar Puts The Brakes On PSG Contract Talk As He Eyes Lionel Messi Reunion At Barcelona

Neymar has reportedly put talks over a new PSG contract on hold as he is growing increasingly confident that Lionel Messi will remain at Barcelona.

The Brazilian has talked of his willingness to reunite with his former team-mate at some stage.

Messi has been linked with PSG over the past couple of seasons and had looked set to leave the Nou Camp after expressing his desire to leave in the summer.

However, he has cut a happier figure at the club as the season has progressed and his team's form has picked up.

And Catalan newspaper Ara report that Neymar not only believes that Messi will put pen to paper on a new deal at the Camp Nou, but they also note that the Brazilian has informed Barcelona that he would be willing to return to the club.

This is in line with the statements made by former Barcelona scout Andre Cury.

'Neymar will play with Messi again, not at PSG but at Barcelona,' Cury told El Litoral.

Neymar's return to Barcelona would be difficult given the club's financial situation, although he would be willing to make sacrifices in order to push the move through.
