It is not true that the Blackman is not clever. He is very cleaver.
Most times, he simply refuses to think right at the right time. Look at the Obroni; he looked at his lifestyle and that of his kinsmen and he came out with modalities on how to reduce the spread of COVID-19 within the context of his community.
He said, DONT SHAKE HANDS.... and the Blackman said “Yes Sa” also stoped shaking hands.
But the Blackman continues to eat soup together with his neighbors from one and same bowl at the same time. He and his people eat soup together with their bare fingers and even lick the fingers as part of the eating culture. And oh yes, after licking the fingers, he dips it back into the same soup he is sharing with the neighbour.
It is even common for him to pick a chunk of meat from the soup, bite off a portion and drop the other half in the soup for his kinsmen to also pick and munch.
As far as the Blackman is concerned, this style of eating does not share COVID-19 because Obroni has not said so yet. Forget the exchange of saliva and what have you, until the Blackman speaks against it, it is no issue.
Therefore, there is no attempt whatsoever to discourage this style of eating this COVID-19 season. Everyone is waiting for the Obroni to call the shots and set the pace.
