Children Of The Dead Have Even Benefitted From Akufo-Addo's Free SHS - Abirem MP

Member of Parliament(MP) for Abirem Constituency in the Eastern Region, John Osei Frimpong has indicated that Ghanaians will show President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo an appreciation during the December 7 polls for transforming their lives with the implementation of the Free Senior High School Policy.

According to him, many people are now defecting to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) because they have seen the light that President Akufo-Addo has brought into their lives after staying in darkness for far too long under the NDC.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Hon. Osei Frimpong said that the Free Senior High School introduced by President Akufo-Addo has not only benefitted the children of the living but also the dead ones’ children are beneficiary of the Free Education policy.

“With the Free Senior High School policy, everyone has benefitted even children of those who have died have had the opportunity to go to school for free . . . if the living are showing appreciation by joining in the campaign to retain President Akufo-Addo for the next four years, they are doing the right thing,” he indicated.

He, however, mentioned that even though they are not going to be complacent with the campaign, this election’s campaign has been one of smooth sailing for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), especially in the New Abirem Constituency as the people can pinpoint projects and the benefit they are witnessing of the Akufo-Addo government.

Using the performance of the Akufo-Addo government in the New Abirem Constituency, Hon. John Osei Frimpong posited that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will amass more than 70 per cent of the total votes in the upcoming December 7 elections as the people in his constituency are willing to show appreciation.

He held the view that the 2020 general election will be different from the rest of the elections and without exaggeration, he said the ruling NPP government will again pull more than 1 million votes difference.
