COVID-19: God's Mercy Will Heal The Land - Rev. Agidi

Right Reverend Dr. Seth S. Agidi, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ghana says God's mercies will descend to sanctify, heal and take the land out of COVID19.

Rev. Dr. Agidi in a live streaming homily at the Church's headquarters on the Day of Pentecost (Whit Sunday) under the theme, "the Gift of the Spirit," said life would return to normalcy soon because God's mercy was at work.

He said the transformational capacity of the Holy Spirit through God was more powerful than the pandemic and urged Christians to pray and cry out to the Lord for intervention.

The Moderator urged Christians to reposition themselves to become beneficiaries of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which was ready to touch and clean repentant souls.

He said all afflictions would be overpowered when mankind lived by the principles of Jesus Christ exuding love, humility and becoming prayerful.

The Moderator said Churches and states globally were confounded by the resultant economic hardships, which had dislodged many businesses and livelihoods but believing that, "it is only through his mercies, things will revert to normalcy."

Rev Agidi entreated the public to mainstream the crusade to spread hope and not fear, maintaining the the protocols as ascribed by the World Health Organisation, including social or physical distancing, regular hand washing, wearing of facial masks and quality healthy lifestyles.
